T’is Mothers Day

T’is Mothers Day and I am re-posting this poem for you, ‘Shirley May Friday’, – My Mum

My Mum

My Mum, she was the one,

Treated everyone with respect, she was number one.

Even when as kids, we acted the clown,

She’d show us the way, never put us down.

She didn’t always say, what people liked to hear,

She knew right from wrong, and that was clear.

More than often, we would argue and disagree,

But you knew, she’d always be there! for you and for me.

Alan Friday

As Hamlet Meneses said in his latest,

“Eres la mejor madre del mundo”
